Still alive. Working on a lot of new stuff, actually. Collaborating with a filmmaker on a short graphic novel. Still trying to fix various plot holes in the stories I'm working on. Also, bought a Wacom Cintiq and learning to use it. Good times :D
So I'm getting back into art after a decade.

It's a long, boring and very ugly story. The short version is that I idiotically dumped everything, moved to the opposite side of the planet with almost no possessions, and immediately ruined my art career before it even began. D'oh! I'm not sure what I was thinking, honestly.

But now, I'm at a place where I might just be able to salvage it and start again. Or something.

If nothing else, I'm hoping that I'll at least get back to having fun drawing, which is really the most important thing for any artist. If you don't really love it, then you could be super successful and earning a fortune, and it will still feel like a shitty job that you hate.

Right now I'm uploading old art, but hopefully I will start uploading new work on a regular basis. I'm hoping that DeviantArt will be a tool to keep me drawing regularly and getting feedback from fellow artists. And by drawing, I mean specifically my own work: I'm already drawing semi-professionally, doing storyboards / art for an independent Indian horror movie (a sample page is posted in my gallery). It's a fun project and it's especially awesome that it's actually paying; but I also want to get back to drawing stuff I really want to draw, and hopefully by next year, a graphic novel.

Meanwhile, sleep sounds like a good idea.

Thank you for reading this and/or visiting my gallery.
